I believe there’s a part inside all of us that we fight to remember because it defines who we truly are. My own art is chained to that struggle. I want to return to the days of my childhood where colors were aglow like embers in a fireplace, and even though I know I will never get there, I’m determined to get as close to it as my talent allows me.
This naive pursuit is flavored by the unavoidable influx of modern life and my reactions towards it. I want to balance these two counterparts; the soulful innocence of the child and the disillusioning, sometimes painful transition to adulthood. You could say I’m going in two directions at once and where it will lead me in the end is anybody’s guess.
I have no official training to showcase; only a love for colors and philosophy. I live for what I do and I hope you’ll enjoy my site.
